About Me
Welcome! I’m happy you’re here. My name is Lindsay Pierce. I am a licensed clinical social worker offering virtual therapy in the state of Colorado, walk and talk therapy in the Denver Metro area and virtual LCSW supervision.
Personally, I enjoy reading, hiking, and traveling. But you’ll most likely find me spending time outside with my family - my partner, our beautiful twins, and our two dogs. I am originally from Chicago, and have lived in Denver since 2019.
My down to earth personality will ensure comfortability and connection in the therapy space.
Therapeutic Approach
Taking the time to better understand our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors is a vital step towards building a fulfilling and enjoyable life. As a dedicated mental health professional, my goal is to connect with clients in a warm and supportive environment. I specialize in working with adults who are experiencing difficult or intense emotions, life transitions, or are looking to deepen their understanding of self.
In our sessions, I'll work alongside you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, helping you gain insight and develop the tools needed to navigate the challenges you face. Together, we can identify your strengths and goals, paving the way for personal growth.
Some of the evidence-based modalities I use are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. My approach is flexible based on your needs. Together we will determine what approach is the best fit for you.
I have worked in the public school system for over 10 years, which allows me to bring a unique perspective while working alongside school staff who are facing burnout and other day to day stressors of working in the field of education. I am able to draw on this experience when working with parents of neurodivergent kids, with extensive knowledge and experience in special education.
Your story matters, and I’m here to listen and support you as you embark on this important path of self-discovery and empowerment.
Let’s connect - Finding a therapist who is the right fit for you can be an overwhelming process.
